Nebraska Biennial and upcoming shows.

I had a piece accepted into the Nebraska Biennial. The show opens Friday at Gallery 1516 from 630-900. The show will run until till August 4th. For more information visit Gallery 1516’s webpage about the show. I will also have a solo show of Mantis Portraits running at Lauritzen Gardens running from June 20th till July 29th. Opening time and information coming soon in a later post. After that I have a solo show of Etymology work at the Fred Simon Gallery in the fall and then a solo landscape show at CHI in Kearny in 2021.

Introductions at Trap Gallery

I will have 17 pieces up at Trap Gallery in Kansas City MS. Opening is September 21st 6-10p. It’s super nice to have a show out of Omaha again though I think I might be hitting show fatigue for this year. I have large shows lined up for 2019. I might call it good at that unless something super interesting appears.

Solo Mantis Show

Awesome news, on April 8th from 5-9pm at Gallery 72 I have a solo show opening in their downstairs gallery.  The show will ask the viewer to address the illusionary attributes we assign to figures with shapes akin to ours through video and photographs.  On Saturday April 9th at 2pm I will be giving an artist lecture on the show.  Gallery 72 will be representing my work in the Omaha area.
